Reverse Pulse Jet Pleated Filter Dust Collector

Reverse Pulse Jet Pleated Filter Dust Collector is a unit of dust collector which is mostly used in the industries or factories. A high-pressure blasting of air removes dust. The blasted air enters from the top of the Pleated Filter bag tube, temporarily stop the flow of dirty air. The flexing of the bag discharges or breaks the dust cake present over the pleated filter. The airburst is about 0.1 second and it takes about 0.5 seconds for the wave to travel down the length of the filter bag. Due to its very fast release, the blast of air does not interfere with the contaminated gas flow. Therefore, Reverse Pulse Jet Pleated Filter Dust Collector can be operated continuously. The blast of compressed air must be powerful enough to ensure that the wave will travel the entire length of the bag and break the dust cake. The efficiency of the cleaning system allows the unit to have higher gas than shaking and reverse air bag filters.

The cleaning system consists of a sequential time controller. This sequential timer controls the solenoid valves. This compressed-air header momentary enters or pulse of high pressure compressed air through the blowpipe into the filter tube. This pulse of air creates a reverse flow of air, which expands the filter cartridges to clean or remove the collected dust over the filter.

The cleaning procedure occurs on a row-by-row basis therefore only some of the total filter air is interrupted or stopped for cleaning allowing continuous outgoing of purified air.
