The wet blasting cabinet or generally known as Wet Blasting Cabinet uses a seal-less slurry pump to convert the abrasive media and water into a slurry mixture. This slurry mixture is then transferred or pumped directly to the abrasive blast gun where compressed air pressure moves the mixture with the desired pressure rating.
The Exhaust Blower filter maintains a negative cabinet pressure that prevents the cabinet fog from escaping during the blasting process. During the process, freshwater is rinsed out on the window after a fixed interval of time which provides continuous operator visibility through the operator view window. Light enters the cabinet through a sight window located on the head of the unit/ cabinet.
Applications of wet abrasive blasting are as follows:
- Cleaning and Burr removal without damage to the target surface.
- Surface preparation for hard chrome coatings, bonding composites, and tin and other tool coatings.
- Etch and smooth glass for embellishing or functional purposes in houses, hotels, etc.
- Peen objects surface for a bright, clean appearance.
- Clean plastic molds.
- Hole cleaning in printed circuit boards (PCBs).
The wet blasting machine works on the suction principle as a suction blasting cabinet. The same gun is using in the Suction & Water Blasting operation. Abrasives/ Glass bead/ Aluminum Oxide mixed with water in this cabinet. Sludge is mixed by air bubbles for a constant flow of slurry (water + abrasive).
We mix particles and liquids (mostly water but sometimes mixed with chemicals), then stir it equally until it becomes like muddy water. We call this “slurry”. We hit this slurry at high-speed by using an exclusive shoot nozzle and the power of compressed air. The speed rate is about 288-720km/hr (80-200m/s).
wet blasting Cabinet Price in India depends on work-piece size, If the work-piece size is small then need a small wet blasting cabinet. If the work-piece size will large then the wet blasting cabinets size will be large, so the cost will depend on the size of the blast cabinet. Shot blasting Cabinet Manufacturer can reduce cost as per component size
